About Us
Our business began a year after we were married. I was video taping a friends wedding and Mark was there as a guest with his point and shoot film camera. The photos and video came out great! We discovered that we enjoyed doing it. So, we started taking classes, subscribed to photography magazines and joined the Professional Photographers Society of New York State (PPSNYS) as well as the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).
Shortly after that we started promoting our services to photograph and video tape weddings. Weddings did not scare us. What scared me the most after the wedding is loosing the rolls of film in the mail. So, we picked a local photo lab that I hand delivered the rolls of film for developing. Each time Mark or I went to pick up the prints, I was given a new lesson. Lessons on equipment, exposure, posing and lighting. Thanks to Lynn, Janice and Shawn for sharing their knowledge with us.
In 2003, we joined the PPSNYS in Syracuse and have been an active member ever since. PPSNYS provided us with several learning opportunities that we took advantage of throughout the years. Improving our photography skills.
We continue to learn from other professional and keep track on the latest trends. We have expanded our services not only to include weddings but also include engagement sessions, portraits , events, real-estate, and dance recitals.
Our passion for photography and video has grown since the beginning. The favorite part is getting to know the people we photograph and video. Our goal is to make our clients look their best, by using posing and lighting techniques we have learned through the years. Thank you to our clients for sharing your special moments with us.

Ellen Dunbar
I am both a photographer and videographer in the Syracuse and Utica areas, but we travel anywhere in New York State actually anywhere in the United States. I learned video at LeMoyne College and been video recording ever since. I enjoy both photography and videography.
Photography allows me to be more creative and work hands on with our customer. I draw inspiration from the details and personality of our clients to create one of a kind wall print or album.
Video is the same but different than photography, with video I am the silent observer, capturing those moments as the unfold during the day. Through video I see life as it becomes a movie.
My goal is to make you cry, because you are so joyful with your video and photo album.

Mark Dunbar
I am a photographer and a videographer, but I prefer photography. Photography is more interactive with the client than video.
In photography, I capture the moments as it happens a frame at a time. By being observant I can capture the right moment at the right time.
Photography is all about the control and manipulation of light whether it is natural or artificial. It is my job to have the photo lit correctly so that the subject is clearly defined. Extra light is even used on the sunniest days to lessen harsh shadows.
After the portrait session or wedding, I look at every image taken, select the best and make tweaks to complete my vision for the final image.
My goal is to give my clients the best image.
